My culture shock of working in Botswana is meetings. Like Batswana love endless & long meetings bathong. I truly struggle with those as I believe they take away from our productivity as a nation. Rona bo makgoba diretse should just work more & meet less & briefly. 30min is enough
This misconception that government employees don’t want to work really needs to stop. Some of you wouldn’t survive in the environment those employees work in. They are understaffed, underpaid, and have limited resources.
Imagine the outcry if Paul O’Sullivan, who captured elements of the South African Police Service, was Nigerian or Zimbabwean. There would likely be loud calls about “foreign interference” & national security. But because he is white, very few people frame him as a “foreigner.”
I think it's now safe to say, Donald Trump lives for being in the news he tries so hard to always be the one people are talking about. Man is sick and needs help

The situation is beyond bad. If it was to me, we could be holding nationwide protests for the whole month until CMS procurement officers ‘ve been removed & investigated. This one is more personal because ke ngwana wa ntlo ya lehuma & medical aid is a luxury to most of my tribe.
I think people need to learn how to contribute in meetings without repeating what other participants have already said! That is a SKILL that is needed worldwide. It would save time and add productivity to meetings 🤞🏼
