One gal I met.

We got talking.

She invited me to a night vigil.

The idea was that we'd go from the vigil to my house and spend the rest of the night then she'd go back to her house the next day.

During the preaching, the pastor made an "Altar call" for persons who want to renounce sin and give their life to God.

The girl joined the throng to the altar and came back crying.

Immediately after the offering, I left the church, and started going home because I believed that all was lost.

My phone rang.

It was her... I picked.

She asked where I was and I told her I was already close to my house.

I remember my dad upgrading our computer at home to a badass screen set and installing Mavis Beacon Teaches Typing, then asked that all we do is improve our typing skills.
3 days in, my elder brother brought home some games. GTA Vice City and San Andreas which he got from our neighbour in Senior Secondary.

So when dad is home we all seat in front of the system typing really fast like experts, to the sound of Mavis Beacon, making him feel all proud and impressed.
But here’s the thing, Mavis Beacon wasn’t the one teaching us typing 😂.
Because when he is at work,
We typed like our lives depended on it:
