I am glad to be a woman in engineering. I have actively encouraged girls into STEM courses and mentored others. Glad to be featured in the #IAHRWomen mosaic. #Shapetheworld#INWED20#womenengineers
The Home Office needs to do better. A lot of immigrants with young children and huge family and financial responsibilities are being made to lose their jobs and accommodation because they cannot generate a share code after their leave has expired.
These are people who have applied for further leave to remain before their leave expires, applied for an Administrative Review after their application was refused, or exercised their Right of Appeal with the Immigration Tribunal after their application was refused. They had a right of appeal, which was exercised within the time limit.
Most employers do not want to risk being slapped with a financial penalty for employing an overstayer. This is an injustice to legal migrants who have not done anything wrong but are being made to suffer due to the maladministration of the Home Office.
The Secretary of State @ShabanaMahmood and the Home Office Minister @MikeTappTweets should pay attention to this if this is not being done deliberately, as many legal migrants are suffering unnecessarily.
This World Water Day is a gentle reminder that we all have a part to play in sustainable water resources management. The theme for this year is a call to "Save our Glaciers". The rate of snowmelt affects the volume of water in rivers; it may also lead to floods or droughts.
Glaciers are melting faster than ever.
As the planet gets hotter due to climate change, our frozen world is shrinking, making the water cycle more unpredictable and extreme.

This new study from @NdukaEleanya and @modupeojimoh study utilises novel data to investigate the impact of cooking energy sources and indoor air pollution on the happiness, life satisfaction, physical, and mental health of women in Nigeria. https://t.co/00iSYCLl72
This part
If the stars were made to worship so will I
If the mountains bow in reverence so will I
If the oceans roar Your greatness so will I
For if everything exists to lift You high so will I
If the wind goes where You send it so will I
If the rocks cry out in silence so will I
If the sum of all our praises still falls shy
Then we'll sing again a hundred billion times
I don't think I have remained intact anytime this part comes on.
According to @modupeojimoh and @NdukaEleanya the recent ‘Energy and Well-being Symposium’ in #Nigeria highlighted the need for cleaner cooking fuels to reduce indoor air pollution. https://t.co/JHRyxPF6q7
Say their names! Jeremy, Nathan and Ibrahim. Still with the kidnappers. Please let's sustain the pressure. B4 this, Musa was communicating with the kidnappers BY HIMSELF! Where else on earth does this happen. Your tags, shares and reposts changed this.🙏🏾 #savethegimbas#ripvictor
Please Nigerians, help us. Victor, the first son of the #Gimbas has been killed by the kidnappers. Please help us raise awareness so the govt. and security agencies can sit up and act. His dad has gone to identify the body of his son in the morgue. He would've been 15 in October
The Energy and Well-being Symposium that took place this March in Enugu, Nigeria, tackled how #energy affects our health and happiness. Experts stressed the need for clean energy and highlighted Africa’s renewable potential @modupeojimoh and @NdukaEleanya. https://t.co/wkE6Si4K9a
We celebrated two decades UKERC and energy research excellence with a special event in London in April. Watch the videos of the event here. https://t.co/FyUSk96yuG
One of the highlights of my year has been the dissemination of the results from our UKERC project on the links between cooking energy and wellbeing of women, CO in the blood and cognitive development of children. Learn more via the blog. Thanks @UKERCHQ team the great support.
The Energy and Well-being Symposium took place last March in Enugu, Nigeria. The event brought experts together to explore the links between energy, well-being, and #sustainable development. This blog from @modupeojimoh and @NdukaEleanya explores the event https://t.co/ILuEFnaNPV

Hey guys, so due to popular demand, I present to you (drumroll… 🥁🥁) the bible verse bits (DARK EDITION). For everyone who mentioned it, please know that I saw it and took note even though I did not respond 🫶✨
These are the first 40. I’ll update over time 🙏
