@FNCompetitive @FortniteME Please consider adding Tel Aviv servers to competitive playlists. Players across the Levant and nearby countries need better server coverage. Many of us are dealing with around 70 ping to Qatar, putting us at a serious disadvantage in a game where ping matters so much. Tel Aviv servers could offer a much better option for players in Jordan, Palestine, Isreal, Lebanon, Syria and Egypt, along with parts of Iraq and northern Saudi Arabia. Depending on ISP routing, players in Turkey, Cyprus, Greece and parts of Libya could potentially benefit too. Qatar serves some parts of the region well, but that does not mean it gives everyone in the Middle East a good connection. Even within the same country, players can have completely different experiences depending on their location and ISP. We are asking you to test Tel Aviv as an additional server location for competitive and evaluate real ping and routing data from these countries. Keep Qatar available for the players who get a better connection there, while giving the rest of us a viable alternative. Some of us already pay for routing services on top of our internet bills just to get a somewhat playable connection, and even that cannot consistently fix the problem. There are so many talented players in this region who want to put their name out there but are held back by their ping. They deserve a fair opportunity to compete, get noticed and show what they’re capable of.
