Deanna Pizzitelli (b. 1987) is a Canadian photo-based artist and writer. She is interested in the contemporary expression of analogue processes and how they can be used to explore complex emotional landscapesโstates of longing, loss, restlessness, and uncertainty.

We are pleased to announce our newest artist in residence Deanna Pizzitelli.
Deanna Pizzitelli (b. 1987) is a Canadian artist and educator. She completed her BFA at Ryerson University (CA), and her MFA at the University of Arizona (US).
She was selected for the Juryโs Choice of the 2020 Prix Virginia (FR), and was shortlisted for the 2021 PhMuseum Womenโs Photography Grant and the 20211854 x Leica Witnesses of: Individuality commission.
Eligibility for artists of all disciplines whether local or international. Itโs an opportunity to exchange with various practitioners in the Lusaka art scene but also experiment within your own practice with a duration of up to 3 months.
