This is some extremely interesting history I never knew about!
Our ancestors had ties millennia ago the memory of which were largely forgotten amid conquests & colonizations.
I love that it’s being rediscovered in the 21st Century!
Israel & Somaliland are today rebuilding & restoring what once was & the whole region will once again flourish! 🤝

Results of deduction,hard-work,faith of the great People of Somaliland.
An independent Somaliland would serve the collective interests of the Somali people.
It would function as a stable and secure environment in which individuals and communities could conduct business, engage in international trade, and access quality education for their children.
In doing so, it would offer direct and practical benefits at both the personal and familial levels, enabling Somalis to pursue economic opportunity, safety, and long-term development.
This outcome would demonstrate that Somaliland constitutes a constructive and pragmatic solution to a range of challenges affecting the Horn of Africa and the wider international community.
As a result, the international community would increasingly view and engage with Somaliland as a positive and stabilizing force in the region.
Women in #Somalia's capital, Mogadishu, staged a large-scale protest, carrying banners with slogans such as, "Abuse is a criminal act against the safety of society," alongside other messages strongly condemning violence and abuse targeting women.
The demonstration was sparked by an incident that occurred in broad daylight in the heart of the capital, specifically at Banadir Park where a group of men sexually assaulted a young woman who had gone to the park to participate in a welcoming event for a prominent social media influencer.
