NDP MP Charlie Angus brought a motion to invite Suncor’s CEO Rich Kruger to the Natural Resources Committee to clarify his and Suncor’s position on reducing emissions and de-carbonizing their operations. But neither NDP MPs Angus and McPherson nor the Bloc MP actually asked him any questions related to the motion at committee, and all of them - including Liberal MP Julie Dabrusin, the Parliamentary Secretary for Natural Resources (!!!) – based their questions on assertions that were outright false, although you can see they don’t actually want to have a fact-based discussion. The truth is they want to shut down oil and gas, and that agenda is more important to them than honesty and reality. No wonder Canadians get fed up with politics and politicians! See for yourself:

Trudeau is driving inflation up.
His reckless deficits have driven interest rates up, meaning you pay more for your mortgage.
He's not worth the cost.
Today, common sense Conservatives tabled a plan to bring down inflation and interest rates, so you can keep your house.
The war in Gaza might bring down this guy's political career. On pretty much every position, he's outsourced his brain to the left wing Twitter Hive Mind, which is now dominated by anti-semitic propaganda and conspiracy theories.
If my read is correct, Canadian officialdom just witnessed the most brazen outpouring of pro-terror support in our collective history and the official reaction will be ... nothing. The Brits brought hate charges. The French ordered deportations. But we chose "scared silence."
I've deleted my original tweet because it's important in these times to be as accurate as possible. The purpose of last night's pro-Hamas rally in Toronto was to promote a blood libel against Israel. It was not more or less than that.
Day TWELVE of @antihateca’s total silence about hate being spread on our streets. @berniefarber why the silence? You’re the “Founding Chair” of this org…
The gruesome celebrations of the bloody pogrom in Israel have come as a shock to Canadians, but highbrow antisemitism has been incubated here for years.
The news media is not blameless.

@nspector4 There’s a flurry of retweets of his late night tweet, all of which is an attempt to obfuscate the fact that the PM jumped the gun and blamed Israel. And did so as Biden was going to the region to ease tensions. I’m sure the shameless, amateur pandering will not go unnoticed.
