Luna is home!
Her eye looks so much better & she’s purring.
She does look and feel rather gaunt but her weight has been trending downwards over the last few months. Treats incoming!
Thank you again for those who donated. That mum settled a further final bill of £260 today. 🙏🏽🩷
An update on Luna: she’s doing ok and should come home on Tuesday… hopefully. Her eye looks loads better. Although she’s still not eating lots.
That mum visits every day and she’s always happy to see her.
@curiousTricia It's to do with what's wrong with her... nasal polyp or .. possibly something else - they can't dx fully. But it makes purring difficult.
1/3: Chandie is home. We feel not quite her old self but definitely most of the way there. She is on a probiotic powder for a further eight days and we will see how she goes. Luna is still in the vets on IV antibiotics and will remain there for at least another 3 or 4 days..
It was too long to write in a tweet, so here's an update on the girls. That mum says it's weird only having me at home.. but it means I get undivided attention.
I do have some diarrhoea myself, so depending on Chandie's diagnosis, I may also need to be treated.

3/3: That mum settled an interim bill. For transparency we have attached it in the second picture because we have had a few donations (totalling around GBP 170) towards their care. And we thank you hugely for them. ❤️ #cats#blindcat#rescuecats#catlove
2/3: Her eye looks a lot better but there is clearly some blockage possibly due to the nasal polyp or whatever is there, because she has some swelling around her sinuses. She's still not eating very much but always enjoys treats when that mum visits.
