He supported Tinubu in the 2023, with the hopes that it’d be business as usual - the government of Tinubunwould favour him, in turn. However, when Tinubu took over, the story changed.

NNPC Limited was incorporated by Oando, the leadership changed. Tinubu further appointed 9 Board members - to more like work as his liaison officers on NNPC affairs.

Give it to Tinubu. He’s given arguably the most strategic but infamous chain of responses to anti-government protest in Nigeria’s history. He may, as well, earn the title, “The Wizard of Modern Nigerian Politics.”

Granted, the accolades may be largely “oversized” for his actual personality. Particularly because, a majority of Nigerians are largely gullible, unthinking, and irredeemably thoughtless.

But, at least, in the land of the “blind” the “one-eyed man” can lead and claim the “champion” title.

This explains how the low-budget (Aso Rock version of) Vladimir Lenin appeared to have clipped the “balls” of everyone in the country with his aging but potent claws and we seem not to be escaping it.

The only consolation is that this “coconut head” generation are not just backing down like clownish dogs who bark at shadows but dodge the figures.
