@badboyzradgurlz people really love to hate things they dont get, which is unfortunate. sucks, because if they took the time to understand why someone would be drawn to shows like this, it would make them a better person than they were before
one neat little detail i especially loved about 'looking for magical doremi' was its inclusion of a male doremi fan and the subtle exploration of the social stigma that adult men often face for enjoying magical girl shows. it handles the topic with such a raw, heartfelt touch
for an anniversary movie, 'looking for magical doremi' is really unique. it focuses on the adult fans who grew up with the show instead of the og cast. watching the three reconnect through their love of doremi and rekindle their purpose in life is genuinely beautiful🥹
im amazed at how many parallels there are with this film and the fallout games: you've got the vault dwellers, the mutants, the gangs and even the pip-boy. crazy stuff!
that post-doremi depression hits you like a truck... i had an entire list of shows to watch after finishing up doremi, but i want to go back and watch it all again... really miss the girls ;_;;;
