How Somali Society Is Being Shaped and Manipulated through people like bilaal bulshaawi :
Many of the problems facing Somali society today are not happening by accident. Young people are constantly influenced by what they see online, in entertainment, and through the people who are promoted as role models.When individuals who discourage education, critical thinking, and personal growth are made famous, they send a message that knowledge and hard work are less important than popularity and attention. Over time, this can create a culture where ignorance is celebrated while learning is neglected.
Entertainment is powerful. It does more than entertain. it can influence beliefs, shape behavior, and affect how people see themselves and their society. Those who control popular media often have the ability to influence public opinion, social values, and even political attitudes.
Today, many people feel that intelligence, expertise, and education are undervalued, while those who are loud, controversial, or entertaining receive the most attention. On social media, a person with little knowledge can gain a large audience simply by being confident and outspoken, while knowledgeable people are often ignored.
This pattern can also be seen in workplaces and politics. Experts who possess real knowledge are often overlooked, while individuals skilled at self promotion receive recognition and power. In politics, voters are frequently drawn to personalities who entertain and provoke emotions rather than those with the skills and experience needed to solve problems.
As a result, the society started to reward noise instead of knowledge, popularity instead of competence, and emotion instead of reason. Until people recognize these deeper issues and begin valuing education, critical thinking, and genuine expertise, it will be difficult to address the challenges facing Somali society and build a stronger future.
