@saikatdutta @bcrre So in such scenerios, the system can downgrade to a moving block system instead of the virtual coupling to give points more time to change their states which might downgrade the capacity slightly. (3)

@saikatdutta @bcrre It is more challenging for the virtual coupling though especially at the diverging junctions, as the trains are much much closer together and points might not have enough time to be moved and locked which might lead to train derailment (2)
