Qāżī Gūpāmawī (d. 1747), an important follower of Mirdamad, called him the first teacher of Yamani philosophy. The article shows Mirdamad's impact on Gūpāmawī by analyzing his commentary on the Sullam. Although Gūpāmawī admired Mirdamad,he also criticized him(e.g. in modal logic)
My article, "Mirdamad's Philosophy in the Indian Subcontinent: A Rereading of Qāżī Mubārak Gūpāmawī's Commentary on the Sullam al-Ulum," investigates how Mirdamad's philosophy spread to India.

Sadr al-Sharia is one of the late philosophers and theologians of the Islamic world who believed in the atom. In this text, Sadr al-Sharia considers Avicenna's report incomplete from the point of view of the theologians ...
Ibn Sina said that the theologians believe that the atom does not accept even imaginary and hypothetical division.
According to him, no one denies that impossibilities can be assumed or even imagined, and in the same way, the division of the atom can be assumed or imagined.
