ಅಂತರರಾಷ್ಟ್ರೀಯ ಕಾರ್ಮಿಕ ದಿನಾಚರಣೆಯ ಅಂಗವಾಗಿ 2026ರ ಮೇ 1ರಂದು ಮೈಸೂರಿನ ಹೋಟೆಲ್ ಕ್ಯೂ ಸ್ಟಾರ್‌ನಲ್ಲಿ ನಡೆದ ಸೋಶಿಯಲ್ ಡೆಮಾಕ್ರಟಿಕ್ ಟ್ರೇಡ್ ಯೂನಿಯನ್ (SDTU) ನೂತ��� ರಾಜ್ಯ ಸಮಿತಿ ಪದಾಧಿಕಾರಿಗಳ ಸನ್ಮಾನ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮವನ್ನುದ್ದೇಶಿಸಿ ಮಾತನಾಡಿದೆ.
ನೂತನವಾಗಿ ಆಯ್ಕೆಯಾದ ರಾಜ್ಯ ಸಮಿತಿಗೆ ಹೃತ್ಪೂರ್ವಕ ಅಭಿನಂದನೆಗಳು. ಕಾರ್ಮಿಕರ ಗೌರವ, ಹಕ್ಕುಗಳು ಮತ್ತು ಏಕತೆಯ ಹೋರಾಟವನ್ನು ಇನ್ನಷ್ಟು ಬಲಪಡಿಸಲಿ ಎಂಬ ಹಾರೈಕೆಗಳು.

@drnagalakshmi_c ರವರೇ ಬೆಂಗಳೂರಿನ ಕೋಗಿಲು ಪ್ರದೇಶದ ಫಕೀರ್ ಲೇಔಟ್ ಮತ್ತು ವಸೀಂ ಲೇಔಟ್ಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಕಳೆದ 30 ವರ್ಷಗಳಿಂದ ವಾಸಿಸುತ್ತಿದ್ದ ಬಡ ಕುಟುಂಬಗಳ ಮನೆಗಳನ್ನು ಯಾವುದೇ ಪೂರ್ವ ಸೂಚನೆ ಇಲ್ಲದೆ, ಪುನರ್ವಸತಿ ವ್ಯವಸ್ಥೆ ಮಾಡದೇ ಜೆಸಿಬಿ ಯಂತ್ರಗಳ ಮೂಲಕ ಧ್ವಂಸಗೊಳಿಸಿರುವುದು ಅತ್ಯಂತ ಗಂಭೀರ ಮಾನವ ಹಕ್ಕುಗಳ ಉಲ್ಲಂಘನೆ ಆಗಿದೆ.

ಈ ಅಮಾನವೀಯ ಕ್ರಮದಿಂದ ನೂರಾರು ಕುಟುಂಬಗಳು ಬೀದಿಗೆ ಬಿದ್ದಿದ್ದು,
ವಿಶೇಷವಾಗಿ ಮಹಿಳೆಯರು, ಮಕ್ಕಳು, ಗರ್ಭಿಣಿಯರು ಮತ್ತು ವೃದ್ಧರು ಭಾರೀ ಮಾನಸಿಕ ಆಘಾತ ಮತ್ತು ಅಸುರಕ್ಷಿತ ಪರಿಸ್ಥಿತಿಗೆ ತಳ್ಳಲ್ಪಟ್ಟಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
ಇದು ಕೇವಲ ಮನೆಗಳ ಧ್ವಂ���ವಲ್ಲ; ಮಹಿಳೆಯರ ಭದ್ರತೆ, ಮಕ್ಕಳ ಶಿಕ್ಷಣ, ಕುಟುಂಬಗಳ ಗೌರವಯುತ ಬದುಕಿನ ಹಕ್ಕಿನ ಮೇಲೆ ನಡೆದ ನೇರ ದಾಳಿ.

ಭಾರತದ ಸಂವಿಧಾನವು ಪ್ರತಿಯೊಬ್ಬ ನಾಗರಿಕನಿಗೂ ಮಾನವ ಗೌರವದೊಂದಿಗೆ ಬದುಕುವ ಹಕ್ಕು ನೀಡುತ್ತದೆ.
ನ್ಯಾಯಾಲಯಗಳು ಪುನಃಪುನಃ ಹೇಳಿರುವಂತೆ ಪುನರ್ವಸತಿ ಇಲ್ಲದೆ ಮನೆ ತೆರವುಗೊಳಿಸುವುದು ಅಸಂವಿಧಾನಿಕ.
ಆದರೂ ಇಂತಹ ಕ್ರಮಗಳು ನಡೆಯುತ್ತಿ��ುವುದು ಗಂಭೀರ ಚಿಂತನೆಗೆ ಕಾರಣವಾಗಿದೆ.

ಈ ಹಿನ್ನೆಲೆಯಲ್ಲಿ, ಬಾಧಿತ ಮಹಿಳೆಯರಿಗೆ ನ್ಯಾಯ ಒದಗಿಸುವುದು, ಮನೆ ಕಳೆದುಕೊಂಡ ಕುಟುಂಬಗಳಿಗೆ ತಕ್ಷಣದ ಪರಿಹಾರ ಮತ್ತು ಪುನರ್ವಸತಿ ವ್ಯವಸ್ಥೆ ಕಲ್ಪಿಸುವುದು, ಇಂತಹ ಅಮಾನವೀಯ ಕ್ರಮಗಳು ಮರುಕಳಿಸದಂತೆ ಸ್ಪಷ್ಟ ನಿರ್ದೇಶನ ನೀಡುವುದು ಸರ್ಕಾರದ ಜವಾಬ್ದಾರಿ.
ಇವೆಲ್ಲದರ ಕುರಿತು ಅಧಿಕೃತವಾಗಿ ನಿಮ್ಮನ್ನು ಭೇಟಿ ಮಾಡಲು ಮತ್ತು ಅವರ ಅಹವಾಲುಗಳನ್ನು ಆಲಿಸಿ ಸರ್ಕಾರಕ್ಕೆ ತಲುಪಿಸಲು ಕೋರುತ್ತೇನೆ.
ಈ ವಿಷಯದಲ್ಲಿ ನಿಮ್ಮ ತಕ್ಷಣದ ಹಸ್ತಕ್ಷೇಪ ಅತ್ಯಗತ್ಯ ಮತ್ತು ಅನಿವಾರ್ಯವಾಗಿದೆ.

The demolition of the homes of poor families who have been living for the past 30 years in Fakir Layout and Wasim Layout in the Kogilu area of Bengaluru, using JCB machines without any prior notice and without providing rehabilitation, constitutes a grave violation of human rights.

As a result of this inhumane action, hundreds of families have been pushed onto the streets.
In particular, women, children, pregnant women, and the elderly have suffered severe mental trauma and have been forced into unsafe and insecure conditions.
This is not merely the destruction of houses; it is a direct attack on women’s safety, children’s education, and the right of families to live with dignity.

The Constitution of India guarantees every citizen the right to live with human dignity.
Courts have repeatedly held that evictions carried out without rehabilitation are unconstitutional.
Despite this, the continuation of such actions is a matter of serious concern.

In this context, it is the responsibility of the government to ensure justice for the affected women, provide immediate relief and rehabilitation to families who have lost their homes, and issue clear directions to prevent the recurrence of such inhumane actions.
I respectfully seek an official meeting with you to present the grievances of the affected families and to ensure that their concerns are conveyed to the government.

Your immediate and urgent intervention in this matter is essential and indispensable.

#ಬಡವರ_ಮನೆಗಳ_ಮೇಲೆ_ಜೆಸಿಬಿ_ಇದು_ಯಾವ_ನ್ಯಾಯ?

ಬೆಂಗಳೂರಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಇತ್ತೀಚೆಗೆ ನಡೆದ ಘಟನೆ ಅತ್ಯಂತ ಕಳವಳಕಾರಿ ಮತ್ತು ಮಾನವೀಯತೆಗೆ ಧಕ್ಕೆ ತರುವಂತಹದ್ದು. ನೂರಾರು ಬಡ ಕುಟುಂಬಗಳು ವರ್ಷಗಳಿಂದ ವಾಸಿಸುತ್ತಿದ್ದ ಮನೆಗಳನ್ನು ಯಾವುದೇ ಪರ್ಯಾಯ ವ್ಯವಸ್ಥೆ ಇಲ್ಲದೆ, ಪೂರ್ವ ಎಚ್ಚರಿಕೆ ಇಲ್ಲದೆ JCB ಯಂತ್ರಗಳ ಮೂಲಕ ಧ್ವಂಸಗೊಳಿಸಲಾಗಿದೆ. ಇದು ಕೇವಲ ಕಟ್ಟಡಗಳ ನಾಶವಲ���ಲ; ಅದು ಬಡವರ ಬದುಕಿನ ನೆಲೆ, ಭರವಸೆ ಮತ್ತು ಭವಿಷ್ಯದ ಮೇಲೆ ನಡೆದ ನೇರ ದಾಳಿ.

“ಬಡವರ ಪರ” ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿಕೊಂಡು ಅಧಿಕಾರಕ್ಕೆ ಬಂದ ಕಾಂಗ್ರೆಸ್ ಸರ್ಕಾರದಿಂದ ಇಂತಹ ಅಮಾನವೀಯ ಕ್ರಮಗಳು ನಡೆಯುತ್ತಿರುವುದು ಜನರನ್ನು ಗಂಭೀರವಾಗಿ ಪ್ರಶ್ನಿಸುವಂತೆ ಮಾಡುತ್ತದೆ. ಅಭಿವೃದ್ಧಿಯ ಹೆಸರಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಬಡವರನ್ನು ಬೀದಿಗೆ ತಳ್ಳುವುದು ಯಾವ ನ್ಯಾಯ? ನಗರ ಅಭಿವೃದ್ಧಿ ಎಂದರೆ ಬಡವರನ್ನು ಹೊರಹಾಕುವ ಪ್ರಕ್ರಿಯ��ಯೇ?

ಈ ಅನ್ಯಾಯದ ವಿರುದ್ಧ ಧ್ವನಿ ಎತ್ತಲು, ಮನೆ ಧ್ವಂಸದ ಸ್ಥಳಕ್ಕೆ ತಕ್ಷಣ ಆಗಮಿಸಿ ತಡೆದು ನಿಂತ ಸ್ಥಳೀಯ SDPI ನಾಯಕರು ಮತ್ತು ಕಾರ್ಯಕರ್ತರು, ಜನರ ಹಕ್ಕುಗಳಿಗಾಗಿ ನಿಂತ ಕಾರಣಕ್ಕೆ ಪೊಲೀಸರಿಂದ ಬಂಧಿಸಲ್ಪಟ್ಟರು. ಮನೆ ಕಳೆದುಕೊಂಡ ಬಡವರ ಕಣ್ಣೀರನ್ನು ನೋಡದೆ, ಅನ್ಯಾಯವನ್ನು ತಡೆದವರನ್ನೇ ಅಪರಾಧಿಗಳಂತೆ ವರ್ತಿಸಿದ ಈ ಕ್ರಮ ಅತ್ಯಂತ ಖಂಡನೀಯ.

ಸಂವಿಧಾನವು ಪ್ರತಿಯೊಬ್ಬ ನಾಗರಿಕನಿಗೂ ಮಾನವ ಗೌರವದಿಂದ ಬದುಕುವ ಹಕ್ಕು ನೀಡಿದೆ. ನ್ಯಾಯಾಲಯಗಳೇ ಹೇಳಿವೆ ಪುನರ್ವಸತಿ ಇಲ್ಲದ��� ಮನೆ ತೆರವು ಮಾಡುವುದು ಅಸಂವಿಧಾನಿಕ. ಆದರೂ ಸರ್ಕಾರಗಳು ಅದೇ ತಪ್ಪನ್ನು ಮರುಮರು ಮಾಡುತ್ತಿವೆ. ಇದು ಕಾನೂನು ಆಡಳಿತವೇ ಅಥವಾ ಶಕ್ತಿಯ ದುರುಪಯೋಗವೇ?

ಎಸ್‌ಡಿಪಿಐ ಸದಾ ಅವಕಾಶವಂಚಿತ, ಶೋಷಿತಜನರ ಪರವಾಗಿ ನಿಂತಿದೆ. ಈ ಪ್ರಕರಣದಲ್ಲೂ, ಪಕ್ಷದ ನಾಯಕರು ಬಡವರ ಧ್ವನಿಯಾಗಿದ್ದು, ಅವರ ಹಕ್ಕುಗಳಿಗಾಗಿ ರಸ್ತೆಯ ಮೇಲೆ ನಿಂತಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಬಂಧನದಿಂದ ಸತ್ಯವನ್ನು ಬಂಧಿಸಲು ಸಾಧ್ಯವಿಲ್ಲ. ಅನ್ಯಾಯದ ವಿರುದ್ಧದ ಹೋರಾಟ ಇನ್ನಷ್ಟು ಬಲವಾಗಲಿದೆ.

ನಾವು ಸರ್ಕಾರವನ್ನು ಕೇಳುತ್ತೇವೆ ಮನೆ ಕಳೆದುಕೊಂಡವರಿಗೆ ತಕ್ಷಣ ಪರಿಹಾರ ಮತ್ತು ಪರ್ಯಾಯ ವಸತಿ ನೀಡಲಾಗುತ್ತದೆಯೇ? ಅಭಿವೃದ್ಧಿಯ ಹೆಸರಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಬಡವರ ಮೇಲೆ ನಡೆಯುವ ದೌರ್ಜನ್ಯಕ್ಕೆ ಯಾವಾಗ ಕಡಿವಾಣ ಬೀಳುತ್ತದೆ?

ಬಡವರ ಮನೆಗಳನ್ನು ಜೆಸಿಬಿಯಿಂದ ಧ್ವಂಸಗೊಳಿಸ���ವ ಸರ್ಕಾರಕ್ಕೆ ಜನರ ಕಣ್ಣೀರು ಕಾಣುವುದಿಲ್ಲವೇ?
ನ್ಯಾಯ, ಮಾನವೀಯತೆ ಮತ್ತು ಸಂವಿಧಾನದ ಮೌಲ್ಯಗಳನ್ನು ರಕ್ಷಿಸುವವರೆಗೂ ನಮ್ಮ ಹೋರಾಟ ನಿಲ್ಲುವುದಿಲ್ಲ.

#JCBs_on_the_Homes_of_the_Poor_What_Kind_of_Justice_Is_This?

The recent incident in Bengaluru is deeply disturbing and a blow to basic human dignity. Hundreds of poor families saw the homes they had lived in for years demolished using JCB machines, without prior notice and without any alternative rehabilitation arrangements. This is not merely the destruction of buildings; it is a direct assault on the livelihood, security, and future of the poor.

That such inhumane actions are being carried out by a Congress government that came to power claiming to stand “with the poor” raises serious questions. In the name of development, is it just to push the poor onto the streets? Does urban development mean the eviction of the poor?

When local SDPI leaders and activists immediately reached the demolition site and stood their ground to raise their voices against this injustice, they were arrested by the police for standing up for people’s rights. Ignoring the tears of families who lost their homes and instead treating those who resisted injustice as criminals is utterly condemnable.

The Constitution guarantees every citizen the right to live with human dignity. Courts have repeatedly held that evictions without rehabilitation are unconstitutional. Yet governments continue to repeat the same wrongdoing. Is this the rule of law, or an abuse of power?

SDPI has always stood with the marginalized and the oppressed. In this case too, party leaders became the voice of the poor and stood on the streets to defend their rights. Truth cannot be arrested. The struggle against injustice will only grow stronger.

We ask the government:
Will immediate compensation and alternative housing be provided to those who lost their homes?
When will the atrocities committed against the poor in the name of development come to an end?

Does a government that demolishes the homes of the poor with JCBs not see the tears of the people?
Our struggle will not stop until justice, humanity, and constitutional values are upheld.

ಸಭೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ವೀಕ್ಷಕರಾಗಿ ಭಾಗವಹಿಸಿ ಪಕ್ಷದ ಸಂಘಟನಾ ಬಲವರ್ಧನೆ, ಮತದಾರರ ಸಂಪರ್ಕ, ಮತ್ತು ಚುನಾವಣಾ ಪ್ರಚಾರ ತಂತ್ರಗಳ ಕುರಿತು ಮಾರ್ಗದರ್ಶನ ನೀಡಿ ಗ್ರಾಮ ಮಟ್ಟದಿಂದಲೇ ಚುನಾವಣೆ ಸಿದ್ಧತೆ ಪ್ರಾರಂಭಿಸಿ, ಪ್ರತಿ ಬೂತ್‌ನಲ್ಲಿ ಸಂಘಟನಾ ಕಾರ್ಯಕರ್ತರ ತಂಡವನ್ನು ಬಲಪಡಿಸುವ ಅಗತ್ಯವನ್ನು ಒತ್ತಿ ಹೇಳಿದೆನು.
ಸಭೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಮುಂಬರುವ ಚುನಾವಣೆಗೆ ಸಂಬಂಧಿಸಿದ ಪೂರ್ವ ತಯಾರಿ, ಅಭ್ಯರ್ಥಿಗಳ ಆಯ್ಕೆ ಮಾನದಂಡ, ಪ್ರಚಾರ ತಂತ್ರ, ಮತದಾರರ ಜಾಗೃತಿ ಅಭಿಯಾನ, ಮತ್ತು ���ತಗಟ್ಟೆ ಮಟ್ಟದ ಹೋರಾಟದ ರೂಪುರೇಷೆಗಳ ಕುರಿತು ಚರ್ಚೆ ನಡೆಯಿತು. ಪ್ರತಿ ಘಟಕವು ಸ್ಥಳೀಯ ಸಮಸ್ಯೆಗಳನ್ನು ಗುರುತಿಸಿ ಜನರ ಮನ ಗೆಲ್ಲುವ ರೀತಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಪ್ರಚಾರ ಹಮ್ಮಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವಂತೆ ಸೂಚಿಸಲಾಯಿತು.

ಈ ಸಂದರ್ಭದಲ್ಲಿ ಎಸ್‌ಡಿಪಿಐ ಉಡುಪಿ ಜಿಲ್ಲಾ ಪ್ರಧಾನ ಕಾರ್ಯದರ್ಶಿಗಳಾದ ರಝಾಕ್ ವೈ.ಎಸ್. ಹಾಗೂ ಶಂಶುದ್ದೀನ್, ಕಾಪು ಕ್ಷೇತ್ರ ಸಮಿತಿ ಅಧ್ಯಕ್ಷರಾದ ಸಾದಿಕ್ ಕೆ.ಪಿ. ಹಾಗೂ ಕಾರ್ಯದರ್ಶಿ ತೌಫೀಕ್, ಜೊತೆಗೆ ವಿವಿಧ ಗ್ರಾಮ ಘಟಕದ ಪದಾಧಿಕಾರಿಗಳು ಮ��್ತು ಸದಸ್ಯರು ಉಪಸ್ಥಿತರಿದ್ದರು.

ಸಭೆಯ ಅಂತ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಪಕ್ಷದ ಬಲವರ್ಧನೆ ಹಾಗೂ ಮುಂಬರುವ ಚುನಾವಣೆಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಎಸ್‌ಡಿಪಿಐ ಪಕ್ಷದ ಗೆಲುವು ಸಾಧಿಸಲು ಒಗ್ಗಟ್ಟಿನಿಂದ ಕೆಲಸ ಮಾಡುವ ದೃಢನಿಶ್ಚಯವನ್ನು ಕೈಗೊಳ್ಳಲಾಯಿತು.

The Social Democratic Party of India (SDPI) Padubidri Village Committee organized a special meeting yesterday to discuss the preparations and strategies for the upcoming Zilla Panchayat, Taluk Panchayat, and Gram Panchayat elections.

The meeting was presided over by Abdul Azeez, President of the SDPI Padubidri Village Committee.

Participating as an observer, I provided guidance on strengthening the party’s organization, enhancing voter outreach, and planning effective election campaigns. I emphasized the need to begin election preparations from the grassroots level and to strengthen the team of dedicated party workers at every booth.

The meeting also discussed pre-election preparations, criteria for candidate selection, campaign strategies, voter awareness programs, and booth-level planning for the upcoming elections. Each local unit was advised to identify key local issues and conduct people-centric campaigns to win public confidence.

Present on the occasion were Razak Y.S. and Shamsuddin, General Secretaries of SDPI Udupi District, Sadiq K.P., President of Kapu Constituency Committee, and Taufiq, Secretary, along with various village-level committee members and office bearers.

The meeting concluded with a strong resolution to work unitedly towards strengthening the party and ensuring SDPI’s victory in the forthcoming elections.

ಈ ರೀತಿಯ ಘಟನೆಗಳು ನಮ್ಮ ಪುರಾತತ್ವ ಸ್ಮಾರಕಗಳನ್ನು ವಿರೂಪಗೊಳಿಸುವ ಮತ್ತು ದೇಶದ ಇತಿಹಾಸ ಪ್ರಸಿದ್ಧ ಸಂಸ್ಕೃತಿಯನ್ನು ತಿರುಚಿವ ಹುನ್ನಾರ . ನಾನು ಈ ಕೃತ್ಯವನ್ನು ಖಂಡಿಸುತ್ತೇನೆ ಮತ್ತು ಈ ಕೃತ್ಯ ಎಸಗಿರುವ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಆರೋಪಿಗಳನ್ನು ತಕ್ಷಣ ಬಂಧಿಸಿ ಕಠಿಣ ಕಾನೂನು ಕ್ರಮ ಕೈಗೊಳ್ಳುವಂತೆ ಸಂಬಂಧಿತ ಅಧಿಕಾರಿಗಳಿಗೆ ವಿನಂತಿಸುತ್ತೇನೆ. ನಮ್ಮ ಐತಿಹಾಸಿಕ ಸ್ಮಾರಕಗಳನ್ನು ರಕ್ಷಿಸುವುದು ಸರ್ಕಾರ ಮತ್ತು ಪುರಾತತ್ವ ಇಲಾಖೆಯ ಹೊಣೆಗಾರಿಕೆ.
