@vijaythirumalai From a customer perspective Chinese EVs are highly durable and technically advanced. It reduces transportation cost which has direct impact on reducing inflation. I don't mind indian OEMS impacting by this move, we should look at whats better for people than for companies.
@DILIPtheCHERIAN I think there is a clear crime here. All CKDs attract 35% tariff, VW misdeclared the items to reduce the tariff to 5-15%. Their procurement sware seems to be designed in a way to do this efficiently. This is against the law. No need of foreign investment if they are illegal.
