Today I visited the former US detention and torture facility in #Bagram #Afghanistan where I was held captive in 2002 for one year. I found the cells I was held in, the rooms I was processed like an animal in, the chambers I was interrogated in and the places where I witnessed murder.

It was like a dream and nightmare come true at the same time.

I thank Allah and all those who helped make this mission possible. In sha Allah the #AlJazeera documentary about this journey should air in a few months.

The #Bagram circle is almost complete. I pray #Guantanamo closes next and we can go back there too one day.
