Scaling statics + videos in one flexible ad actually works, surprisingly well, but the best structure actually works as a scaling mechanism, and not for testing, here's how:
1. Identify winners first in the ecosystem
2. Create iterations of the winning concepts (Videos + Statics)
3. Upload them in one flexible ad
This was me just testing the concept, but it worked significantly well, tested it multiple times, never failed to surprise me with the results.
Build the ecosystem of the complete funnel in the ad rather than iterations of the same ad. all winning statics + videos in whichever stage of the funnel just plug them in the ad itself rather than the adset.
Downside is that you can only take them to one landing page, but it doesnt matter as long as the landing page reverses the risk through education and selling at the same time.
I can assume the reason this is working significantly well recently especially in consolidating the entire funnel in one ad rather than a campaign is that meta is aware the significant creative output coming from Ai, imagine the output 5 years ago vs. now.
This is why andromeda keeps updating, it's not because of what it learned, its consolidating output, and this is what i would assume the next approach will be, we're just early.
The ad creative may be too broad, especially if the app is focused on anything ai-solutions, meta putting him in a large competitive auction considering that a 16 year old can build an app now and push ads to it with no structure.
It’s like selling a hotel booking service and hoping you can bid against booking with that budget, but if a hotel booking service is focused on honeymoon offers then the ad will end up in a different auction, more niche instead, decreasing CPM’s relative to a non targeted one
@benradack I must ask when segregating campaigns with a winner creative and scale, wouldn’t that cause an auction overlap? Or do you scale the concept instead
