This International Day of Education marks 129 days of closure of girls' school in Afghanistan. The Taliban have banned girls above age 12 to go to school. Girls are abandoned from fundamental right to education. Call on Taliban authorities to #OpenSchoolsForGirls 📚

Happy 1 year anniversary to mohioshi!!
We celebrated the opening of the library in the same month we celebrate out 1year anniversary!!
In this year we are so pleased that we have managed to support an extra 10 girls this year, bringing our scholarships to 20!

The mohioshi library is all set up!
Today was our inauguration!
The girls we support have now somewhere they can study, books to borrow and a safe place to socialize that is entirely theirs!!

The stained glass sign from @pigrecoglass made the 6000mile journey safely, we will be hanging it in the new library we are setting up for all our studious students! Keep an eye out for our next steps!

Our mohioshi headquarters got a repaint last year, because of COVID we haven't seen it in the flesh! Finally after two years @sustainable_aam has been able to go back to his hometown and see the progress mohioshi has made whilst away!
