पाकिस्तान के हिंदुओं का संघर्ष देखिए

कल पाकिस्तान में भी मेडिकल प्रवेश परीक्षा यानी MDCAT(medical and dental collage admission test) का रिजल्ट आया

यह परीक्षा 180 नंबर की होती है और पूरे सिंध में पहला रैंक लाने वाली और पूरे पाकिस्तान में दूसरा नंबर लाने वाली एक हिंदू बच्ची है जिसका नाम महिमा तालरेजा है

वह सिंध के एक छोटे से कस्बे जो गुजरात के कच्छ से सटा है शिकारपुर की रहने वाली है

उसने 180 में से 179 नंबर लाया है

दरअसल पाकिस्तान के हिंदू बच्चे हर एक प्रवेश परीक्षा के लिए बहुत मेहनत करते हैं क्योंकि वहां अल्पसंख्यकों के लिए बेहद सीमित सीट होती है

पूरे सिंध में मेडिकल कॉलेज में एमबीबीएस की 600 और डेंटल की 800 सरकारी सीट में से सिर्फ 12 सीट ही हिंदू बच्चों के लिए है

इसीलिए वहां के हिंदू बच्चे इतनी मेहनत करते हैं ताकि वह ऐसी व्यवस्था में भी अपनी जगह बचा सके जो उन्हें किसी न किसी तरह से प्रताड़ित करके मुस्लिम बनने पर लगी है

और अगर कोई हिंदू छात्र इस्लाम कबूल कर लेता है तब वह भी आराम से मेडिकल कॉलेज में प्रवेश पा सकता है

पाकिस्तान सरकार धर्मांतरण का बढ़ावा देने के लिए इस तरह के नियम लगाई है ताकि वहां के हिंदू जैन (जैन तो खैर वहां कोई बचा नहीं) थोड़े बहुत सिख जो हैं वह धर्मांतरण करके मुस्लिम बन जाए और वह भी ओपन सीट में एडमिशन ले सके

The girl started reading the book around 11:30 PM. A short while later, she came to her friend's room in tears and said she was frightened and no longer wanted to marry him.

The friend still told her to think carefully about whether their love was genuine. She suggested that, if the boy truly loved her, he could consider changing his religion and they could then discuss the marriage with her father.

The girl called the boy and told him about the suggestion. According to the story, he responded with an insulting remark about her.

Those words deeply hurt her. She realized that the person she had loved so much did not see her in the way she had believed.

She decided not to go ahead with the marriage.
