Within 8 months of buying, there was an issue with the battery because of which I had to get my phone serviced (was under warranty). Now after a period of about a year since then, I again have an issue. In fact multiple issues chained up within a period of 2-3 weeks. Starting with the battery percentage not showing up in the inner screen, then the selfie not working (while normal photos using rear camera work, I can't take a selfie by opening up the phone), then the outer screen becomes unresponsive, and finally the phone itself becomes unresponsive and perhaps dead. All this within a span of 2 years is not at all acceptable for a phone that cost around Rupees 1.7 lacs when I bought it.
I just wanted to give a quick heads-up: my RMA dashboard says I need to make a decision on the quote by October 8th. Since tomorrow is Gandhi Jayanti and the weekend is coming up, I wanted to flag this so the system doesn't auto-cancel the ticket or assume I'm ignoring it while your team investigates. Please let me know if you need me to do anything on my end to keep the ticket active while you review it. If not I request you to at least provide me an acknowledgement. Thanks! @madebygoogle
Extremely disappointed with @MadeByGoogle@GoogleIndia. My Pixel 9 Pro Fold suffered a spontaneous failure. Support admitted in writing that the screen/camera failure IS covered under the Extended Repair Program.
However, they are denying me this service #teampixel#googleindia
However, after inspection, I am being charged more citing issues to screen, hinge and camera. The screens are physically intact. I actually have timestamped photos proving this taken before sending the phone (see photos). In fact, even the exclusive service center in Bengaluru agreed the screen was fine. This was because I have been using a screen protector since day 1. And issues with the camera and hinge that they cite are just scratches that happened 7 months ago. I don't think it is reasonable to deny me the replacement for an inherently faulty phone citing unrelated issues that happened 7 months back. Standard support is stonewalling and refusing to escalate. I need the Executive Escalations team to review this immediately. Please help me out. Case ID: 3-3752000041676
While I think Google acknowledges inherent issues to that particular model through their extended repair programme for the Pixel 9 Pro Fold, I am being currently denied the free replacement. Because of a minor 7-month-old cosmetic scuff from a scooter slip, they are now refusing to repair the covered internal defects and are demanding ₹66,516 for a full device replacement! Honestly, before mailing my phone for inspection, I had confirmed that the only issues were scratches on the phone and I was ready to pay the amount of ~₹6,000 that they had initially quoted.
To be honest I am coming out on this platform because I feel I have no option left. I have been a loyal customer of Google Pixel, having owned a Pixel 7 Pro earlier, a Pixel Watch, and now the Pixel 9 Pro Fold. I have been happy with the other products until now but this expensive piece of hardware has been troubling me since the beginning.
Let us say 10 years down the line, we are able to produce milk that's equivalent to mother's milk. I mean it provides nutrients, antibodies for that environment etc. I wonder if breastfeeding a child, or rather breastfeeding a male child, be considered an act of patriarchy
He is IPS Bishnoi .
He got married recently.
This is the video of him glorifying some shitty tradition .
He has the power to dismantle all this shit.
Imagine wearing a uniform to uphold patriarchy.
You don’t get to wear a uniform and then defend misogyny as culture. If power doesn’t dismantle harmful practices, it protects them.
But he chose to glorify that shit because it pleases misogyny.
@Sushma_Kol@kalpanajaggi@smitaprakash Say you are a 40 year old, have worked only in the govt services..any job say a police officer. Now which HR is going to give them a chance without relevant experience? Also as a govt employee, he/she might have perks like housing. So the private job to pay accordingly. Not easy.
@Sushma_Kol@kalpanajaggi@smitaprakash After a certain period of time you spent in the govt services, it may not be so easy to move into since other job. Society is not equi-frictional (if that's a word :p) with everyone.
@Maks_NAFO_FELLA Imagine losing customer base of 1.5B people, that too with a mean age of around 30. Now tell who is to be worried! So be careful with those "threats"! 🇮🇳💪
