@ImtiazMadmood gain an audience with the king while hiding their swords underneath their robes. They quickly slew the king. When the palace guards rushed in, they all committed suicide.
@ImtiazMadmood The queen was a daughter of the chief of Pateikkaya, a tributary kingdom in the west in Bengal (near present-day Chin State). The chief of Pateikkaya, angered by Narathu's action, sent a group of eight assassins, disguised as Brahmin astrologers in 1171. The eight managed to ...
Don't pack your bags & jump to India.
First stay here for 2 years & decide.
Coming for 2 weeks vacation is different & living routine life is different.

@BMTheEquityDesk With all due respect please stick to your domain. You are an investor not a defense strategist. While I respect your prowess as an market analyst, you are making a fool out yourself here. I am sure there will be people who clap but think twice still.

• All of them left India
• All of them are US Citizens
• All of them are General Category
• All of them don't care about India
So, carrying their Indian names doesn't make them Indian.
World class railway station opened in #Bengaluru
Few months later it's painted with pan-gutka stains, ruining aesthetics & taxpayers' money
Do we deserve fancy infrastructure when we don't regard it?
Upholding the Constitution for the wrong reasons is dangerous for the Indian Republic:
1. The danger of equating reservations with the Constitution is that we will let that single policy hijack the entire enterprise.
2. It is also not a 'holy book' that must be worshipped.
One of the key arguments I hear in favour of reservation is:
I had privileges: therefore, I should make room for others to grow.
Facts:
[1] General, Male candidate.
[2] My mom worked as a cashier at a public sector bank
[3] Aced almost every test in my life. That was my ticket to a better life.
[4] Parents were always worried: that if I did not study well, I would not have a good career.
[5] So kept working hard. Aced good colleges.
[6] At Master's level, applied for IIMs -- had to compete due to diversity quota
[7] Got through due to good CAT percentile
[8] But, no scholarship
[9] So aced GMAT. Again because I was in the 'Indian' pool faced stiff competition
[10] Nevertheless, applied -- got through good foreign Business schools (on scholarship), which considered my profile worthy of being admitted. No 'reservation' there.
Studying well, excelled at almost every job I did in my life.
Meanwhile, many of my friend's dad were IAS officers from reserved categories. Had massive privileges.
Skimps through life with a smirk. Knowing that because they come from a reserved category, they will sail through any exam.
Oh yes, but, I have privileges.
Sorry if it hurts your sentiments: but punishing me for what my forefathers might have done 100 years back, is senseless.
It is like punishing a person for his grandfather's mistakes.
What happened 100 years back was bad.
What is happening now (reservation) is bad too.
Reverse discrimination is discrimination.
You can call whatever you like.
Hard working folks will still scrape though. But, that doesn't make the system right.
@Bazingaaaa_a @afrinhr It is not about the relative prosperity but about the liberty to make the choice and gender equality. I am sure these women aspire to Prada and Land Cruiser but given a choice between personal freedom and Prada most would still choose the former
Just assume that you started with 1 crore capital and made profit of 1 Crore in one year.
Now the capital is 2 CR and you are doing ruthless compounding so the new position size is as per 2 CR.
You are on cloud 9, people are calling you for interviews and podcasts.
