Even in such worrying times, I'm excited to tell you all that my first feature, Kosa, is premiering @Raindance! Cinema doesn’t have to only cater to our consumerist needs; it can be a means of resistance & agitation. We can counter disinformation in media with truth in cinema.
Hi @IndiGo6E You still haven't responded to my last tweet despite me DMing you all the details. There is no way I can reach you because you'd just not connect me to customer care. Being incompetent/making mistakes is fine but at least owe up and be answerable to your customers!
@IndiGo6E I’m in Copenhagen still waiting for my luggage. It has essential medicines and winter clothes.
A 4-hour delay in Delhi made me miss my connection; you rebooked me on Etihad but my bags are still stuck in Mumbai with ZERO communication.
A very distressing experience.
@IndiGo6E@IndiGo6E Your helpline is constantly unreachable. Still no word on my luggage with medicines.
No company that treats customers like this can call itself serious. Are you serious about operating international flights?
995 hate speech events in 2024 were first shared on social media.
While this is the reality, the nation is losing its mind over an unfunny joke on a YouTube show. CM-level outrage, FIRs across states, news channels running it on loop. Manufactured outrage at its finest.
995 out of 1,165 hate speech events in 2024 were first shared or live streamed on social media platforms, including Facebook, YouTube, Instagram, and X, with Facebook leading at 495 events.
@CebuPacificAir They are saying they are unable to help even if it's a genuine error and I reached an hour within having made the booking. @CebuPacificAir
Hi @CebuPacificAir, Hi, I accidentally booked tickets for 9th Nov instead of 9th Dec for a special trip with my partner. The tickets are non-refundable, and we can’t travel on the November dates. Is there any way to adjust this? Any help would be hugely appreciated.🙏
I think I've just had the best cab ride of my life. I was in a rush to catch a flight when I stepped into Abdul bhai's cab. And look what I was greeted to: snacks, drinks, toffees, medicines, even cardamoms! He is a lovely person to talk to and he made my day. ❤️
Inspired from a real incident, filmmaker #MohitPriyadarshi tells the larger story of Adivasis in the country’s heartland, who are caught in the crossfire between the establishment and the corporates on one side, and the Maoists on the other

'Kosa is not so much about the crossfire between the State and Naxals but more about a Constitution promising rights to its people and then successive governments not living up to even a word of it,' @mohitprior tells @arshiadhar

Here it is!
Kosa is a film about the bizarre travails of a teenage Adivasi boy accused of being a 30-year-old Maoist commander by the local police!

but what was even-more awe-inspiring for me was his sense of deep humanism. His concern for the oppressed communities was genuine and urgent. We must celebrate such people, not put them behind bars. #ReleaseVaraVararao (2/2)
I don’t know Varavara Rao personally but I met him during a lecture he gave in JNU a few years ago. I wasn’t quite sure what to expect, but I was spellbound by this old man’s breadth of knowledge and experience. His grasp of political theories and histories was evident, but 1/2
