Thirty two years after the formal end to apartheid—the white supremacist rule which treated Black South Africans worse than dogs—a white South African magistrate has jailed the the most radical South African politician and leader of the left-leaning @EFFSouthAfrica and South Africa’s most prominent young Pan-African leader, to 5 years in jail for an alleged “firing” of a “firearm” in public, a firearm which was not produced in court and entered into evidence against him.

It’s an outrage, especially a day after the South African President, @CyrilRamaphosa, appointed an apartheid era-politician, Roelf Meyer, as South Africa’s ambassador to the USA.

We express our solidarity with Malema and wish him success on appeal. South Africa must be free! Amandla!

The sentencing of Julius Malema to five years' imprisonment without the option of a fine has left me, like many others, in profound shock.

As someone who has reflected deeply on past mistakes, I remain firmly committed to the principle that all must be equal before the law. But that principle must be applied consistently, and without exception, otherwise it loses its meaning.

Having listened carefully to the proceedings over the past two days, I am concerned that this standard has not been upheld.

It is my considered view that a higher court may well arrive at a different conclusion. That is my honest reflection.

No amount of support will erase the FACT that you, Israel, are an apartheid state and are engaged in a genocidal extermination of Palestinians.

Our traditional chiefs, in even bigger numbers, were complicit with Apartheid in South Africa. Some of them, from prominent royal families, sold out the struggle against apartheid and liberation of their own people. BUT even this DID NOT STOP apartheid from falling. They didn’t succeed to fool our people.

Israel Apartheid will meet the same fate. It is inevitable. Apartheid will fall!
