@wd5acr@blackknife @billy_in_slo @ESPNF1 So really if ESPN wants to be successful in broadcasting Formula 1, they are going to need to make some massive changes. Or they will lose customers like me. I don't mind purchasing better Formula 1 coverage and paying for it. I can't watch the next 20 races like I did yesterday
I give #ESPNF1 a 1.2 out of 10 for their F1 coverage. The couldn't even get their own broadcasters the just ran @Skysports feed and couldn't even do that well. Poor announcing and ESPN's lack understanding will Doom Formula 1 in the US market.
@espn The worst formula 1 race I’ve ever watched thanks to sky and ESPN horrible coverage not watching it again if that’s the best you got a disgrace for media company with the bona fides I’ll be ESPN
@wd5acr@blackknife @billy_in_slo @ESPNF1 Nope. A lot of countries do what ESPN is doing, just broadcasting Sky. I was okay with that. To be honest, I was excited. Sky has some of the best coverage of Formula 1. Unfortunately, ESPN doesn't show us any of it, can't help commercials every 5 mins and do random cuts
@blackknife @billy_in_slo @ESPNF1 ESPN couldn't care less about Formula 1. They can't even broadcast themselves, get announcers, or show literally any interest in the sport. Why even go after taking the media rights? Clearly the NBC crew loved this enough and displayed that passion to us fans. Fans always lose.
Watching Formula 1 practice from Australia. Nice to see @espn already completely destroying the coverage. They’re flat out just going to commercial break whenever...cutting off the commentators mid sentence
@espn Yes formula 1 is back but your commercial timing is downright awful. No warnings, and so far ONLY been during radio transmissions//exciting moments.
Its so bad, I made a twitter so I can tweet this to you. If you intend to keep viewers, please do better w/ timing, etc.
