Crazy things are happening

In anything you do, always be observant especially when you moved to a new place.

I remember when my mum just got to her shop, she would make sales but her money will never be complete .

This went on for like 6 months, at some point , we decided that immediately she make sales, she should separate the actual cost and the profit immediately. She did it but somehow the actual cost won’t still be complete that she would still have to put back the profit to make the complete actual cost.

Then one day I suggested that we monitor every activity that happens in the shop from the moment we open till we close at night.

For the first few days, we monitored everything looked normal.
I monitored every repeated faces and ask my mum for those I wasn’t familiar with that who are they? So finally I noticed a pattern.

When we got home that night , I asked her who this man that do buy market from her first in the morning was, she replied “that man hand is good o, that whenever he patronises her first ,she do make more sales” and he also has a shop down the street also.

I told her for the past 2 weeks that I have been monitoring, he has always been the first to patronise you , is that how it has always been? She said yes.

So I told her, starting tomorrow don’t sell for him first, no matter what he asked for, she said okay , Infact let me go and open the shop tomorrow , she agreed.

As expected, he came as I was cleaning to buy soap and I answered “I don’t know the price, come back later” , he said okay give me another thing that you know the price , I answered no one , he said give me sugar it is #100, I said I haven’t unpacked the carton that holds sugar, he should come back later. Then he answered “your mum don’t treat us like this o” I told him sorry but he should come back later.

When my mum came, I told her what transpired, and the day went on like that , and it was time to close the shop to go home , this man came again and said please give me water.

I looked at my mum and gave him and collected the money from him but I told my mum to leave the money in the shop because I noticed that was the same money he was holding in the morning, we left the money on the table and went home.

Lo and behold, we didn’t meet the money on the table when we got to the shop the following morning and that was also the last time we ever see that man and 3 years later, they broke down his kiosk and it was only dirts and orisirisi rubbish that was found , no trace of someone doing business there before .
