Yes, largely true. But when you’re *in it*, that can be a difficult call to make. The real point is one must be proactive and make a change - whether in relational or physical terms - to move forward/change. People don’t like (or abuse) the “feelings” reasoning bc it’s used as immovable off-load to the other person but it really isn’t. “This is how I feel” and “this is my physical state” are both equal as starting points. But how do we get better? I think that’s where the frustration is.
