@reformexposed @Nigel_Farage I’m the same age as Nigel Farage. I remember well what my primary school bully said and how it made me feel. Bullying in primary school was a significant factor in triggering my daughter’s poor mental health. She died by suicide at 27. Victims of bullying don’t forget

@ProfLAppleby My experience of trying to get accountability from MH Trust regarding the death of my daughter is of absolute defensiveness in the face of obvious failures. Would rather use taxpayers money on lawyers, hoping the bereaved will go away. But we live our loss, we won’t disappear

Even if fortunate enough not to have experienced it themselves, MPs should have enough insight to understand that graphic images like these, to demonstrate cheap political points are triggering and inappropriate.

@ProfLAppleby How very true. I was told numerous times told that Jess had capacity, so could make her own decisions, even if they could be considered unwise. This seemed to override serious mental illness and suicide risk. This was the view of senior staff in the Trust. So what hope is there?

@Shrink_at_Large Sounds completely inappropriate. Put the resource instead into community MH so these patients can access treatment without waiting for months/years. They would then be more likely to stay in employment, and not need hospital admission
