Really! I was obviously doing it wrong when I spent hours on end playing with my son and reading him stories, thought the whole 'refrigerator mother' thing was dealt with years ago. @Telegraph needs to issue an apology to autistic people and their parents, this is deeply hurtful

@BBCBreakfast As a parent of an autistic child I am concerned about this study and what my childs DNA may be used for in the future. I wont be allowing my child to give their DNA. To any autistic person or parent please think carefully before consenting
