On #EarthDay2024, the local #DawoodiBohra community was honored to join @EBRPD and over 100 other volunteers at Coyote Hills in #Fremont to clean up, pull invasive plants, and contribute to protecting this unique, diverse ecosystem!

This #EarthDay2024, young gardeners from the @Dawoodi_Bohras of #Houston are sprouting seeds of change at their masjid's garden! 🌱 As part of #FaithClimateActionWeek, community children helped grow locally sourced & organic produce, including radish, tomatoes, basil, and chilies, while learning about their role in taking care of the environment. 🌍

The #Houston #DawoodiBohra community, in collaboration with @second_servings Houston, recently donated over 3,070 prepared meals during #Ramadan. These warm, cooked meals supported several of their nonprofit partners, such as @OpenDoorMission Houston, Recenter, @MissionOfYahweh, and @impacthouston, improving the community's well-being while minimizing #foodwaste.

Mariyah Khambaty from the #Seattle #DawoodiBohra community turned her food stall into a force for good by channeling all proceeds to @Water1st's high-quality water and sanitation projects.

The proceeds will go towards relieving women and children from the responsibility of fetching #water at the cost of paid employment, education, leisure, and sleep. 💧

By providing reusable cups at their community center, the @Dawoodi_Bohras of #SanAntonio saved 3,000 single-use disposable cups over the period of one month and encouraged broader environmental responsibility.

Members of the #SanAntonio #DawoodiBohra community were glad to attend the Raindrop Foundation’s Annual Interfaith Ramadan Dinner which brought together people from diverse backgrounds to build bridges. Attendees shared about their cultures and collectively donated to the San Antonio @safoodbank.

Spreading joy on #EidulFitr2024!

Throughout the month of #Ramadan the @Dawoodi_Bohras of #SanAntonio ran a community Toy Drive. On #Eid, community members wrapped, labeled, and presented over 60 gifts to Afghan children supported by the Center for Refugee Services, San Antonio. 🎁

It was a pleasure for the @Dawoodi_Bohras in #Kampala to organise a Iftar dinner during the month of #Ramadan and welcome distinguished guests at Burhani Complex.

For our @ProjectriseDB volunteers in Daressalaam, there is no greater satisfaction than feeding the hungry. This month, they distributed cooked meals, drinks and biscuits to the 400 students of Jangawani Girls High School.
