For a donkey, learning begins from the moment they’re born and continues throughout their life. It is often said that every time you interact with a donkey they will learn something. Models in photo 387397 Donkey & 387398 Donkey Foal - Amazing photo by @nightlioness_collections
Baby elephants cant use their trunks effectively until they are at least 6 months old. Until then they just swing them to and fro and sometimes even trip over them. They also suck their trunk for comfort just as a baby might suck its thumb. Image courtesy of Derek Keats on Flickr
DID YOU KNOW: Three-toed sloths have an extra neck vertebrae that enables them to have an almost a 360-degree view of their environment, a powerful defense mechanism considering they are one of nature’s slowest moving creatures.
Ankylosaurus lived at the end of the Cretaceous Period (around 66 million years ago). This means they were one of the last dinosaurs remaining before the large extinction event. This armored dinosaur will be joining the Mojo Range in 2020 🦎
🦎 Unlike many other dinosaurs, Brachiosaurus was able to keep its body temperature stable and high. This is because scientists now belive them to have been warm-blooded animals. This warm blooded giant will be joining the Mojo Prehisotric Range in 2020 🦎
Although they were top carnivores, they still had to be careful of their large and powerful prey. An Allosaurus fossil has even been found that is believed to have been badly wounded by a Stegasaurus. This skillful predator will be joining the Mojo Prehisotric Range in 2020 🦎
🦎The Baryonyx had a huge curved claw, about 1 foot long, was found with the fossil Baryonyx. It is believed that the Baryonyx may have used this claw to hook fish out of water while hunting on riverbanks. 🦎
🦎 Stegosaurus fossils have mainly been found in North America however there have been discoveries more recently in Portugal, indicating that they lived in Europe as well! This globetrotting dinosaur will be joining the Mojo Prehistoric Range in 2020 🦎
🦎 Scientists believe this powerful predator could eat up to 500 pounds of meat in one bite! This hungry T-Rex will be joining the Mojo Prehistoric Range in 2020! 🦎
🦎 Did you know the Baryonyx was the first piscivorous (fish-eating) theropod dinosaur to be discovered? This was evidenced by the discovery of fish scales in the stomach region of an early specimen! This fish eating dino will be joining the Mojo Prehistoric Range in 2020! 🦎
🦎 The Mamenchisaurus was believed to be around 35ft tall! While our Mamenchisaurus may not be quite that big its still a very respectable 7.5 inches tall! And he will be joining the Mojo Prehistoric Range in 2020! 🦎
🦕🦖 A new Triceratops is joining the Mojo 2020 Dinosaur Range! Did you know Triceratops had anywhere between 400 and 800 teeth, although only a small percentage of these were in use at any one time as they were constantly replaced throughout its lifetime! 🦕🦖
🦎 Another exciting addition to our 2020 prehistoric range is this awesome Brontosaurus! Scientists believe that the Brontosaurus' tail was likely used as a whip to help deter natural predators! The sound of their tail cracking may have been their only defense. 🦎
🐎The Shire horse is one of the few breeds where breed crossing only takes place on very rare occasions. This means that the Shire horse is one of the few breeds that is truly its own. Thank you to Anna Horse and Bird @horse_and_bird_studio for making this beautiful sculpt.🐎
