Hey @BoyGeorge, I probably don’t need to explain this - but there isn’t a “debate” with the Israel haters

It’s not a conversation

Words for them are weapons of war

They are not tools to foster common understanding and try to reach truth

They are weapons to kill Jews

They throw out words and attacks and lies to try and manufacture permission to kill Jews and to incite people to kill Jews

They summon all the nastiness they can to scare away anyone who might think of defending Jews

They want to make things so toxic that if Jews and their allies don’t actually kill themselves from the relentless psychological warfare and abuse thrown at them - then they’ll at least shut up - leaving the haters even greater space and freedom for their calumnies to exponentially grow

Thank you for using your voice to make a stand against this

The haters aren’t going to suddenly have an epiphany and change

But reasonable people watch and see

And they may be inspired to exercise the instinct for justice and bravery that exists somewhere in all of us

Your stand on this will be remembered

@kennethdalglish @Carra23 disgusted @CarrasNYC booked a table in Jan, 4 CLF also r wedding anniv! Emailed me 2day 2 say they had cancelled it. Contacted 2 ask why they said theyre fully booked! Then put a post on fb about people trying to get a table claiming they hv anniv/bday

I'm not. as regulars will know, religious in any way. But this, from a Stratord-Upon-Avon tea shop referring to a Jewish family who asked if they might have cucumber sandwiches rather than chicken, reads like a deeper antipathy than "no religious requests sorry" is at play.
