Tigers fans have every right to be frustrated with how this season has gone. The injuries, the defense, the inconsistency, all fair criticism.
But some of the reactions lately act like this organization is what it was from 1995-2004 or 2015-2021
Detroit literally made the postseason last year and has multiple young players either already in the majors or close to it. The expectations changed because the expectations were finally raised again.
Criticize the roster construction. Criticize the defense. Criticize the lack of depth. But pretending there’s “nothing here” is just ignoring reality.
It’s May, but can’t be measured on this damn app. It’s always some sort of dire straits. Good damn lord.
