Around 23:40 local time last night, security forces intercepted a rickshaw transporting mortar rounds and other explosives concealed in sacks of vegetables in #Mogadishu’s Deynile neighbourhood.

The security forces received prior intelligence that terrorists were attempting to smuggle explosives into the city and acted swiftly.

The rickshaw driver is now in police custody for further interrogation.
