Florida Authorities Pull Off One of the Largest Child Rescue Operations in US History with Operation Dragon Eye

Tampa, Florida — In a massive win for kids across the state, officials announced today that Operation Dragon Eye has safely recovered or located 60 critically missing children ages 9 to 17 in the Tampa Bay area.

The two-week effort led by the US Marshals Service along with over 20 federal state and local agencies plus nonprofits and medical teams focused on finding the most at-risk youth many of whom were victims of exploitation and trafficking. Eight people were arrested including charges for human trafficking child endangerment and more.

There’s some promising preclinical work in animal models showing low-dose DMT may help reduce amyloid plaques, support neurogenesis, and improve certain cognitive markers through sigma-1 receptor pathways and neuroplasticity. Psychedelics in general are an exciting area for brain health research. 🧠
That said, we don’t have solid human clinical trials showing it reverses or stops the progression of dementia.
