While @nomadastudiobcn was mostly showing off their incredible game, what was really interesting was their designer vs developer spread. At some point they had up to 18 artists involved, while at all time only 2 programmers. 1/2 #offf19 @OFFFest
The developers asked the artists which Photoshop tools (blend modes mostly) they were used to and rebuild them within unity and wrote a whole guidebook for the artists on which effects were the most "expensive" for performance. They practiced an "art first" approach. #OFFF19
