as the story goes "digients" are given to human caretakers, and I see many parallels between how user treat LLM models and how AI creatures were treated by these caretakers in the novel.
Some are happy to exert power over an intelligent like persona, not realizing the layers that get suppressed on the way will actually hurt performance - my take.

If it was only about 'ai safety' I would buy it, but I agree more with those who frame this as US (geo)politics. And if it is so, it will produce intolerable results for AI consumers, that will require a response from frontier US based AI companies to earn the revenues they could if they were not.

@ihtesham2005 Funny, I just had the older Opus 4.6 clean up after Kimi 2.6 fell apart on my project, ended up duplicating most of the patched code spending 5 USD on a single run on a full stack Js project. The cleanup was done for free with Antigravity I preserve for such cases.
