NEW: Ten years on, Prime Minister @andyburnham tells @campbellclaret & @RoryStewartUK that there was ‘clear’ Russian interference in the Brexit vote.
FINALLY after years of cover-ups & denials from the highest levels of the UK govt. That in itself deserves an inquiry.

In Ukraine’s Dnipropetrovsk region, a Russian drone dropped an explosive device on an 11-year-old boy, killing him. Two other children were injured.
The drone operator could clearly see that they were children. This was the deliberate killing of children.
Free weekend update is out. The big story is that Donald Trump is now free to be what he always was--strong supporter of Vladimir Putin and an agent pushing for Russian victory. He no longer has to pretend he cares at all about Ukrainian dead or Russian War crimes. Europe, take note.
Hey America.
Canada has a diesel surplus. We export more than we use domestically. Most of it to the United States.
Trump bought you 12 days worth from Russia for double what Canada charges everyday to you.
Choke on that.
While everyone is in the angry space around Trump buying diesel - there is an awkward reality we must confront: Europe is - and has been a buyer of Russian fossil fuels since 2022 - and continues to do also.
🇪🇺‼️ The EU paid an estimated €1.92 billion for LNG from Russia's Yamal project in the third quarter of 2026, according to Urgewald analysis of Kpler data.
EU ports received a record 12.18 million tonnesbetween January and September, an increase of 9.5 per cent compared with the same period last year.
EU ports received 2.21 million tonnes between July and September, as Washington approaches a deadline to review sanctions on the vessels sustaining Russia's gas trade.
Although third-quarter import volumes were 13.6 per cent lower than in Q3 2025, the EU's estimated bill for the first nine months reached €7.88 billion.
Urgewald's analysis shows that 167 Yamal cargoes were delivered to EU ports between January and September. Europe received 85 per cent of the project's recorded deliveries by volume, remaining by far its largest market.
The increase came even as Yamal's worldwide deliveries fell by 1.3 per cent. Europe took more Russian Arctic LNG and absorbed a greater share of the project's output.
Dear Europe,
Quit tip-toeing around it. The US is no longer your ally. Trump and Putin are allies. Crush russia now.
- $300B to Ukraine
- Complete import/export ban with russia
- Start punishing sanctions evasion for one. Do so harshly.
- Blockade the Baltic
If Americans view, clip, share, and permanently enshrine an American public killing in a million ways on the internet, we will move towards fascist rituals of violence.

I'm sorry but I have to vent.
Fuck the GOP for watering down the Lindsay Graham sanctions bill and giving Trump full power over it.
Fuck anyone who said Kamala would be worse for Ukraine than Trump.
Fuck all the Americans who are okay about the fact that US is now funding Russia's genocidal war in Ukraine - because that's what you're doing now.
And fuck people who still support Trump after all the shit he's done for Ukraine.
So tiring.
Pedophile Trump not only f*ks children, he kills them too. He is THE most vile specimen ever to become President.
How the fuck did 77m people vote for this?
What allowing Russia to sell oil products means was heard most clearly in Kyiv just now, when, after repeated attacks on energy facilities with jet-powered “shaheds,” Russia launched a ballistic missile attack as well. Some of the missiles were intercepted. This once again clearly demonstrates Russia’s true intentions. They count on prolonging the war, terrorizing ordinary people, and destroying infrastructure.
Every additional billion dollars they can earn from exports will be spent on nothing but sourcing and importing critical components and equipment to manufacture weapons, upgrading “shaheds,” producing missiles, and recruiting even more mercenaries to fight at the front. Russia’s choice is war. And they will be ready to end it only when they feel that their ability to drag the war out is diminishing.
Unfortunately, the signals Russia received yesterday were entirely different – signals suggesting that it could simply keep attacking. And this needs to be corrected. Strong signals are needed from the United States, Europe, and other partners – signals in support of Ukraine and to RESTRICT Russia’s ability to wage war and terrorize people. Thank you to everyone who stands with Ukraine!
Trump and his administration continue to escalate against British, Canadian and European interests, values, and security.
By attacking the ICC, he is attacking *our* shared court and our structures of international law.
By buying Russian diesel, he is giving Putin more capacity to kill Ukrainian civilians and threaten the security of all Europe, the UK included.
A YouGov poll this week asked “which country do you think poses the biggest threat to the UK today?” It showed Brits regard Russia (46%) as the greatest perceived threat, followed by the US (12%) - ahead of Iran, Israel and China.
It is becoming increasingly clear that Trump’s intentions towards us (in Canada, UK and Europe) are hostile.
As America’s financial and moral positions in the world tumble, his policies towards the rest of the West look increasingly kamikaze. We need to increasingly take up antagonistic positions towards the US administration and the Big Tech companies that are undoubtedly becoming an extension of US executive power.
Not a pleasant prospect, but absolutely necessary for our security.
Historian of fascism here. This is an escalation of an attempt to normalize extreme violence, ritualize violence, militarize the country, and make violence entertaining so when they ask you to commit violence in their name, you will be ready.
