Recently, over tracks ive travelled recently. I guess thats why ive felt a bit upset over this incident and im not the only one, its close to home. Please I ask people not to speculate over the circumstances and let the RAIB work, R.I.P to the driver who lost their life 💙😪

Thoughts with everyone involved and the families hurt and affected. I don't post as much on X anymore because of the way the platform has gone. However I have to say this incident has hit hard, a fellow colleague has passed away after a collision involving a unit ive driven

Sunday's turn involved a walk from Crewe station to the LNWR site to prep 2 units for service and bring my own into the station to form 1K00 1410 service to Derby. As always a variety of stock is parked up throughout the walk which brings back happy memories of days past 🥰

170273 awaits departure from Derby Platform 5 with 2A10 0801 to Ambergate while in the background a 170 on the bypass awaits departure with 5A51 and a 10 car 222 departs Platform 7 to Nottingham with 5B91. The sunday morning grind at derby ☁️

158 846 sits at Matlock platform waiting to work 2J53 yesterday. Had a good service this unit because it made a 170 look slow 😁 hopefully 158 862 serves me just as well today on 2J61!

With the faulted unit 102 in the sidings it will be down to 360 105 to run 1H54 back to London St Pancras as a lonely 4 car, still, better than a cancellation 😀 lovely 🌞 too!

@chriscollins462 @Captain_Deltic Alot of factors involved, training of train crew, 810 availability and delivery, they aren't cleared to be coupled together yet so drivers aren't coupling trained, piece of string as things stand atm
