For those of you who don't know, the purpose of the GOG dreamlist now is to convince Iron Galaxy to do whatever is possible within their power to return Rumbleverse in some form.
Due to the 2nd round of layoffs at Iron Galaxy, it seems Iron Galaxy's option would be to either:
1. Keep waiting for a publisher to be interested in publishing Rumbleverse while holding on to the intellectual property rights of the game.
2. Take a very risky chance on turning Rumbleverse into a game where we can pay to own it like majority of all fighting games, instead of free to play.
3. Sell the intellectual property rights to anyone who may be interested in buying it.
4. Or they can give official private servers to the community like Knockout City did, but this option would be if they truly cannot find a way to return Rumbleverse in some form and properly monetize off of the game.
Getting as many votes on the GOG Dreamlist can help encourage Iron Galaxy to hopefully pick one of these options and potentially help them still get a publisher interested in the game as well.
Let's keep collecting votes from Rumblers out there till we get one of these options from Iron Galaxy! ✊️
To Iron Galaxy if you see this! @IronGalaxy you told us Rumbleverse fans that all you needed to return Rumbleverse was a publisher!
We formed a community to help you get one, and amazingly, we helped get Acclaim's attention to publish it!
Why haven't you accepted the offer?!
Thank you to @PushPlayTheDJ for continuing to spread Rumbleverse on YouTube to this day! Give them support whenever you can to help spread Rumbleverse further on the platform! #SpreadRumbleverse
WE ARE NOW LOOKING FOR PEOPLE WITH REVERSE ENGINEERING SKILLS TO RETURN RUMBLEVERSE!
Someone from our community informed me that Iron Galaxy has laid off Keeman45. To explain how important Keeman was, he was the only one that would give interviews to the employees at Iron Galaxy where sometimes the employees would give us hope hearing that the people in Iron Galaxy still miss Rumbleverse and they hoped they could return it soon.
Without these updates, we will have no idea if the people at Iron Galaxy are still interested in potentially returning Rumbleverse some day. Not only that, we have no clue how many people who worked on Rumbleverse are left to be able to work on it again.
Unfortunately this basically means this is officially the end of any chance of Rumbleverse returning unless Iron Galaxy says anything different anytime soon, which without Keeman, I doubt they will.
With that being said, we have a large community despite the outcome and now I'm going to focus on seeing if we can find anyone interested in potentially returning Rumbleverse through reverse engineering.
I'm sorry to everyone who helped us and tried their best to help Iron Galaxy bring Rumbleverse back, but unfortunately the gaming industry has changed for the worst and getting second chances during these times basically seems impossible now.
We all agree Rumbleverse deserves better and should be given a second chance. The GOG Dreamlist is now more important than ever, so spread it and collect votes if you can to at the very least convince Iron Galaxy to either sell Rumbleverse to us, sell the IP to someone who may be interested in it, or finally give us official private servers like the game Knockout City did.
