@CityPowerJhb Ferndale, Main Ave has not had power for 4 days now we've logged tickets and nothing has been done. And now we're told about delays due to weather, so we're spending thins long weekend with no power? @emi_koekemoer can you please assist
Same script with Enhle Mbali and Rachel Kolisi. Both navigated messy, public divorces full of betrayal, emotional scars, and speaking out but y’all showed Rachel endless grace for going through the exact same mess you dragged Enhle through!
Enhle talks? She’s “ruining a Black man’s career,” bitter and vindictive, needs to shut up and get a Job. Rachel talks? She’s a courageous, good woman who was betrayed, flooded with sympathy and “you deserve better” energy.
Identical circumstances, but Black women get hate and demands for silence while non-Black women get grace and validation.
Y’all weaponize “bitter” against Black women to bury their stories, then hand non-Black women empathy without question.
This is rabid misogyny that saves its cruelty for Black women, destroy their credibility, destroy their voices to protect Black men’s image. Black women are seen as disposable when they hurt out loud. The hypocrisy stinks.
