We need to bring awareness that Black English is an actual language and is the language that certain individuals feel comfortable

@DrPorcher @dr_s_bertrand Anti blackness is woven into my understanding and teaching of the course content by not knowing there was more than one type of English spoken until I got to high school.Although I did hear it, I did not know much about it and this course has definitely deepened my understanding

@DrPorcher Growing up, all I knew was mainstream English. That is what my family spoke and what my town spoke. My teacher taught grammar one way and that was mainstream English. It was not until I got to high school that I started to hear different ways of English being spoken.
