We are proud to announce that during the opening day of the Seafuture exhibition in La Spezia, the National Armaments Directors of Italy and Greece, signed a preliminary agreement for the transfer to the Hellenic Navy, through Fincantieri, of two naval units currently in service with the Italian Navy fleet. The signing took place in the presence, among others, of the Italian Minister of Defence, Guido Crosetto, his Greek counterpart Nikos Dendias, and the Chief of Staff of the Italian Navy, Admiral Enrico Credendino.

This agreement underlines the strategic value of the naval units built by our Group, internationally recognized as an outstanding example of national military shipbuilding, while promoting collaboration, interoperability, and joint industrial development in the maritime domain. The final agreement will also include a support package, which we will be able to manage thanks to our know-how and proven expertise in after-sales services.

With this signing, that represents a further evidence of the international relevance of the Italian system, and a significant step forward in cooperation between Italy and Greece, we confirm our unwavering commitment to bring on board a more innovative future and safer seas.

We participated in the high-level Italy-Romania dialogue on corporate responsibility and compliance organized by the Italian Embassy in Bucharest, alongside other leading Italian companies.

The event was attended by over forty experts, including jurists, economists, lawyers, institutional representatives, and business professionals from both countries.
The aim was to initiate an in-depth bilateral dialogue on the benefits for companies deriving from the adoption of organizational and control models capable of preventing various forms of illegality.

During the conference, our Head of Group Compliance, Anna Valentini, shared the best practices implemented by our Group in the field of Compliance Management, with a particular focus on several topics, including the responsible use of AI and new technologies for more effective, predictive, and inclusive controls.

We firmly believe that transparency, prevention, and traceability of business decisions are fundamental elements to ensure competitiveness and sustainable, future-proof growth.

We are pleased to announce that starting from September 1st, Eugenio Santagata will be our new Director of the Naval Vessels Division.

His profile combines extensive experience in the defense sector with a strong international business vision, developed during his distinguished career. He began as an officer in the Italian Army and later held executive roles in cutting-edge fields such as electronic warfare, cyber intelligence, cybersecurity, cryptography, and secure quantum communications.

This appointment, in a strategic role for our Group, consolidates and underscores our commitment and dedication to developing pioneering strategies. Thanks to unique and targeted expertise, we aim to bring on board a future that is increasingly innovative and advanced.
