@henningsanden Color blending node for roughness, sss, and bump maps makes it so much more manageable to achieve a great look. Also, do these have displacement maps from zbrush? I’ve run into problems with valleys most likely from color channel errors on trying to single out red in Maya.
Breakdown of my latest project of this custom Ford Model A (think 1930s). 1st of 4 long-term assets. Nice blend of hard surface and organic modeling and a lot of focus on look development of the model. Wanted this to feel like it was pulled from the streets of 1930’s nyc.
Clever crowd in vfx of Ted Lasso. My guess is plate extras were shot from different angles and are main source of crowd and comped into CG stadium. I’d throw in some cg characters mo-capped to fill any holes. Can tell lighting is different and shadows are harsh on the stairways.
