We are pleased to announce Yale-commit Michael Oliveto (Hauppauge 2025) has been named Axcess Baseball’s Preseason Player of the Year. The catcher helped lead the Eagles to their best season in nearly a quarter century, capturing the Suffolk and Long Island Class AA Championships. He tied for the Suffolk lead with 8 HRs (2 walk-offs), and compiled a stellar 1.328 OPS, scored 23 runs, drove in 32 runs, hit 6 doubles, 3 triples and was successful on all 8 of his stolen base attempts.
