I’m watching a cop show set in St. John’s Newfoundland. The entire population of the province of Newfoundland is just over 500K. Greater Grand Rapids, MI is 1.4M to 1.6M. Why isn’t there a show set here?
Egg prices: $5.69 a doz. Retail in 2024: $4.14
Gas: $3.37. A month ago it was $3.07.
Bread: $3:29
The price of steel is up 25.52% since the beginning of 2025.
Just stating the facts here. Not how I want them to be.
I am seriously so tired of reading HR job posts requiring a BA in Marketing for a Director. I have a Jouneyman trade cert in Graphic Design and Illustration. Out of the box I was in Advertising and Marketing rolls. I rose to C levels without a degree. It's about experience folks.
