Don't tell me energy is low around voting.

Many states don’t allow mail-in ballots to be counted before Election Day.
But many races can’t be called until mail-ins are counted, which can take over 24h.
This is normal, but some GOP are laying ground to claim any race not called tonight is suspicious. Don’t fall for it.
Vote for lower costs for families—not tax breaks for the rich and powerful.
Vote for abortion rights—not 2nd-class citizenship for over half the population.
Vote for Social Security & Medicare—not the GOP’s cuts.
Vote for democracy.
Vote for Democrats up and down the ballot.
As climate discussions increase around COP27, I’m drawn again to critical thinking around phrases like “We need to act” and “we need to do more.” Who is “we” in this case? Does “we” also include the poorest and most vulnerable? Let’s be clear who really needs to step up.
