Treating racism as an opinion is dangerous. It is illegitimate hatred that needs to be confronted and defeated. Wiley's antisemitism is extreme and grotesque, threatens to radicalise others, and while I hope he's re-educated, he needs to face consequences in the here and now.
Finally did the racism in the NHS presentation and now my hospital is blocking me from sharing as it’s too “sensitive” a topic. Anyway if anyone wants it for a more progressive hospital, DM me
Another 155 Coronavirus deaths recorded today. Not long ago that would have been a top news story. We can't allow the government to pretend that everything is returning to normal. It isn't.
We think it’s time to start paying our NHS staff properly.

whatever scenes of mayhem you may see tonight remember that it was Boris Johnson who decided to open pubs at 6am on a Saturday, to confuse all the messaging, to come out of lockdown too early, to not admonish Cummings or his Dad for breaking the rules
the public are not to blame
They had almost unlimited public support, they had the money printer and some of the best scientists in the world. But the government has been unambitious and complacent and their failures are likely to lead to a lot of deaths
Why this particular phase of the UK response so infuriating and frustrating? I think it’s because it increasingly feels like a pantomime of public health
Yesterday, @Keir_Starmer@JonAshworth@leicesterliz and I, brought a motion to Parliament calling on the Government to introduce weekly testing of NHS and care staff.
331 Conservative MPs voted against it, even though they spent many Thursdays clapping for carers.
y’all ever think about how we’re living in the middle of a pandemic... and a depression.... and a civil rights movement....during an election year.... all while having d*nald tr*mp as president.... and yet there’s people who exist as if there’s literally nothing wrong
