‘I could not live without Champagne. In victory I deserve it, in defeat I need it.’ - Sir Winston Churchill.
I definitely needed it after that penalty shoot-out. But as we flew home tonight, I remembered we’re Champions of England.
I love you all @Arsenal ❤️
Some Saturdays you eat alone. And that’s ok… grilled chicken thighs marinated in yogurt, lime, garlic and spices … corn with butter, zucchini and onions with salt, pepper, and olive oil. Leftovers for lunch early next week.
My sweet friend @sonnyjoynelson departed the White House today. She has been by my side for almost every single interview since the 2024 campaign. Not only is she the best media booker in the business — she is an incredible person, and respected by all. Love you, Sonny! ♥️🇺🇸
Crews are hard at work replacing decaying & failing expansion joints in the Reflecting Pool with leak-proof materials built to last generations.
Thanks to @POTUS, the Reflecting Pool will be perfectly sealed to prevent leaks, save taxpayer money & restore pride in our capital!
The Cubs sued the rooftop across the street — Wrigley View Rooftop — for filming and streaming their games without a license. They claim it’s unauthorized commercial use of their broadcasts. The rooftop owners argue they’re just letting fans watch live from their deck, not pirating the TV feed. It’s still going on, last I checked. Classic Cubs-rooftop tension.
The Cubs bring in an enormous amount of traffic to an already congested area. People that live in Wrigleyville know this and know what to expect during the baseball season.
Harry Truman, visibly unhappy, and his mother-in-law (far left) at breakfast table in White House. Even when he was President, she thought he was not good enough for her daughter and asked how he could be so unkind to "that nice man" Thomas Dewey.
Very few towns have their medieval character and sea walls well-preserved and intact like Monemvasia.
A window into what a medieval Roman coastal town looked like!
On May 10, 1775, Patriot forces commanded by Ethan Allen and Benedict Arnold captured British Fort Ticonderoga in a swift, surprise dawn raid.
The cannons and heavy artillery taken at Ticonderoga, along with those seized shortly afterward at Crown Point, were later hauled over 300 miles by Henry Knox in one of the Revolutionary War’s most remarkable logistical feats. This “Noble Train of Artillery” played a decisive role in forcing the British evacuation of Boston in March 1776.
Just got off the phone with the owner of Atlantic Industrial Coatings, LLC, the firm awarded a $6.9 million no-bid contract for the reflecting pool.
When asked to confirm whether Mid-America Industrial Coatings had been brought on as a subcontractor, he became evasive and shut down the conversation, stating "That's none of your business".
There are a lot of things off about this project.
The world's tallest church is about to get its crown.
On June 10, 2026, exactly 100 years after Antoni Gaudí's death, the Sagrada Família will inaugurate the four-armed cross atop the Tower of Jesus Christ.
