The chair of Iowa’s largest school board once served as Michelle Obama’s Chief of Staff.

Now she’s defending a superintendent arrested by ICE for being in the U.S. illegally.

The man was pulling down a $300,000 taxpayer-funded salary while under a final deportation order... and somehow the district “had no idea.”

Parents get lectures about paperwork all the time, but apparently it’s optional if you’re running the whole school system.
