Belgium 4: Their best performance at this World Cup so far, gutsy rotation by the coach and it paid off huge with increased physicality and intensity, big performance by De Ketelaere who really took over, tactically astute approach and leaned on their experience to find themselves in a quarterfinal after a disappointing start to this tournament

USA 1: Just wilted under the bright lights, no confidence on the ball, poor defending, and most damningly no intensity at all when that had been the number 1 asset so far, lost the game more than Belgium won it, made key mistakes that culminated in a disaster from Freese in goal, it was a good tournament, but this was an embarrassing game, felt like the swirling controversy around the game effected the team massively
